Heydons Lawyers has a long standing record of being involved in the Byron Shire community and being aware that every business in a community adds to that communities sense of relationship. 

Throughout our time we have been or are involved with:

• The Northern Rivers Community Foundation a philanthropic organization established to provide community support to the Northern Rivers.
•  
• Uncle Project – a project involved in mentoring underfathered boys.
•  
• Byron Bay Chamber of Commerce now Byron United – a business organization representing the businesses in Byron Bay.
•  
• School Councils – our members have been on local school councils to assist in the good governance of those councils.
•  
• Local golf clubs – our members have been on the board of local golf clubs to assist in the good management and governance of those golf clubs.
•  
• Byron Youth Activity Centre – assisting in programmes to educate young people about how to start small businesses.
•  
• The Byron Bay Writer’s Festival as a major contributor and providing legal services.
